Girls Day Out

It must have been a Girl's Day Out kind of a day... I saw on Mary Beth's Blog that she had a Mommy & Me day too. Kendall and I went to the Mayborn Museum today. We had a blast, and it was educational too!

Kendall posing outside one of the cabins.

Resting and relaxing on the front porch.

I'm not quite sure what she is doing here, because we didn't have a tour guide; but I would guess she is sawing an invisible log? Or washing clothes, or making a horse shoe, maybe churning butter?

Kendall loved the green screen, where she pretended to be a weather woman. You can see the map on the TV next to her.

Operator, please connect me....

We had a great time, and most of it was inside so we could ecsape the 100+ degree weather, but the best part is we were together and making memories!

Well, it's about time for another blog...

It's been forever and a day since I've blogged, so I'm not sure if I have anymore readers out there, but just incase I do...

We found out 3 weeks ago that Mark got the transfer that we were crossing our fingers for, so we will be relocating!! Yea!!! On the downside, we have to sell our house first, so who knows when that will be. We are very excited to be going back home so we can be closer to our families and civilization (no offensive to the natives here).

Mark and I went to Jacksonville, Florida for 4th of July. We had a blast! I definently recommend it for a nice weekend escape!

There was a 4th of July concert near our hotel, it was Joe Nichols and some other people. I am not much of a country music fan, but Mark is, so we went and as it turned out I had heard most of his songs before, so we had a great time.
