The Kid Behind the Blog - April Edition

The Blogging Community is so fun!  In the four short months I have been blogging I have "discovered" people half way around the country, and just a few miles away, that I feel like I would totally be friends with in real life.  Hall Around Texas and Our Pretty Little Girls have quickly become two of my favorite bloggers.  They are both sweet, mommy's that I look forward to reading about each day.  They are also two of the hosts of a monthly link-up called, The Kids Behind the Blog.  Each month, they give you a set of questions to ask your kids, you record the answers, and link-up.  This is my first month participating, but I am looking forward to many more!

Originally, I was only going to ask Jess (4 years old) the questions, but Jentry (2 years old) overheard and wanted in on the action, too. I had not planned on asking Kendall, my sixteen year old, these questions, but in an odd twist of events, I did.  She was not amused, so this may be her first and last time to participate.  I have written (aka interpreted and summarized) their answers below each question, but also included Jess & Jentry's video at the end of the post.  Enjoy!!

What is your favorite thing to do with your friends?
Jess: Play on the Wee School playground; and play in the tree house and that pirate ship.
Jentry:  Swing and play with my friends Carly and Claire.
Kendall:  Go to dinner and laugh with my friends!
Who is your favorite person?
Jess: Kannyn, Sarah and Reece (all friends from school).
(I lead him on a little more thinking my Mama's boy wouldn't let me down, but then he added Jentry and Kendall, his sweet sisters).
Jentry:  Baby Charlee
Kendall:  Jesus
When playing outside, what do your ideal sunny day plans look like?
Jess:  Swinging!
Jentry:  Eat watermelon and swing.
Kendall:  Get a drink from Sonic with my friends or hang out on the patio with my family.
What do you like to do when it’s raining? (Since April showers bring May flowers)
Jess:  Nothing, I am so sad to go outside.
Jentry:  (I'm not sure she understood the question) Be happy.
Kendall:  Watch movies, eat and snuggle up with blankets.
If you could plant a garden of anything, what would you plant?
Jess:  Watermelons, peaches, plums and nectarines.  (That guy would eat fruit all day, every day, if I would let him.)
Jentry:  Chips (Girlfriend does love her some Doritos)!
Kendall:  Money, Dr. Pepper and bacon.  (#ThatsMyGirl)

    1. I love bacon, but hate cooking it & my house smelling like it, so a bacon tree might be the perfect answer.
