The Kids Behind The Blog: August Edition

It's time for one of my favorite posts of the month; The Kids Behind the Blog.  Each month I link up and ask my kids a series of questions...just to see what they'll say.  Keep scrolling to the end for videos of my two youngest.  They look forward to their "interview" each month and are very professional about it. ;)

I changed up the questions a *tiny* bit for each of my kids because some were school related.  Kendall will be starting her JUNIOR year.  Yikes!  Jess will begin his third (and final) year at preschool, and Jentry is just starting her preschool years, in the two year old class.

Kendall

1.  What was your favorite thing you did over summer break?

Definitely going on my mission trip,  (You can read all about it here)

2.  What is your favorite class at school?

I am excited this year to be in the Ready Set Teach class.  I get to go to the elementary school for two class periods a day and learn some of the responsibilities of becoming a teacher.

3.  Who are some of your friends at school?

Everyone is a friend!  Be a buddy; not a bully.

4.  What do you want to be when you grow up?

A teacher because I love kids and helping others.

5.  Is there anything you don't like about school?

Waking up early!

Jess

    1. I don't think I've ever asked her what she wants to be when she grows up, so I had no idea what to expect. I definitely wasn't expecting a carrot! Ha!

  2. So cute. I like that you changed the question to some of your friends rather than favorite friend. And Kendall's answer to that was so sweet!

    1. Thank you! I've always tried to avoid my kids using the term best friend. They have so many friends and I definitely don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

    1. All Kendall has ever wanted to be was a teacher! She'll be so good at it!!
I feel bad about Jess' name drop, but the kid he mentioned doesn't go to our school anymore and I'm sure his mom doesn't read my blog. Oops!!

  6. That is amazing that your school district offers that program for Kendall to learn about becoming a teacher. What a great experience for her to have! I also love that she said everyone is a friend. I was the same way through school - I had my close knit girlfriends, but I talked to everyone. Cute answers from all 3 kids!
