Labor Day Love

Happy Labor Day!  When I was a teenager I looked forward to school holidays to catch up on TV a little...only to find reruns!  Let's face it Steve Harvey and Ellen are still on summer vacation for a few more weeks.  So, I'm going to pretend for a few minutes that I am some big TV Executive and rerun a few of my favorite (and most read) blogs from the past year.  If you haven't read some of these, I hope you'll take this time to spend a little of your holiday weekend catching up with me.

I'll start with my top three most read posts, then I'll add a few of my favorites...

My top read post is my WalMart Grocery Pickup: My Official Review.  I still have lots of people that read this post every week. I love it because this service is life changing!  If you are still spending hours grocery shopping, check this out!

My second most read post is Top Ten Things I Did As A Teenager, But If I Did Now People Would Think I Was Crazy.  My teenage daughter and I wrote this together, so of course anytime I can spend some quality time with her laughing, is a good time.

My Husband's True Love...Spoiler Alert...It's Not Me is my third most read post.  When I began blogging in January, I really thought my blog would mainly be a food blog, but I quickly realized I just wanted a place to chat about whatever.  This is one of the first recipes I ever posted, but still one of my most popular posts,  Not only is it one of my husband's favorite meals, it is also been published in a local magazine, Frisco Style Magazine.  If you haven't made it, add it to your menu today!

And a few of my personal favorites...

Top Ten Crazy Emilyisms describes a few of my little quirks.  Like the fact that I have a crush on Terry Bradshaw...you know completely normal things...

Another one of my favorites is a vital part of what makes up our family, Seven Steps To Successful Step Parenting Written By Someone Who Is Not A Step Parent, is all about how well my husband loves Kendall.

Now, just because I mentioned Kendall a few times in those posts and I left out my younger two kiddos, I thought I would end with a picture of me with all of my cuties!

I hope you have a fantastic Labor Day!  I'll see you back here tomorrow with a follow up post from my Menu Planning 101.  I guess you might call it Menu Planning 102...

Emily

I'm linking up with my pal, Johannah, for Hello Monday!

  1. Isn't it funny how you think your blog will go one direction and it ends up going in a completely different one?! Hope you are having an awesome Labor Day weekend.

    1. Absolutely! I love posting recipes, but it's really a lot more work than I thought taking a picture of every step. I love blogging about whatever comes to mind.
Hope you're having a great day, too!

  4. I really think your Emilyisms post was one of the first I ever read and I was like...who is this chick I have so much in common with?! I mean how many other people do I know with a crush on Terry Bradshaw?
