Texting (I despise talking on the
phone)
Hand Sanitizer (I’m a bit of a germaphobe)
Alarm
Clocks (My internal alarm clock, does not work)
Netflix
Binge Watching Weekends (Enough Said)
Kohl’s Cash (Because why pay full
price?)
Flat Irons
(You should see
me without one, yikes!)
qUeso (Who doesn’t love Cheese
Dip?)
Lipgloss (I never leave the house
without it)
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we're thankful for. The big things, the little things, all things. Thank you for stopping by my blog and reading what I have to say. Whether it's a day I'm going deep and sharing my heart, passing on a family favorite recipe, or a day like today, where I hope to have brought a smile to your face (or possibly an eye roll from my quirkiness), I am thankful for my loyal readers and the friendships I have made through blogging. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with the people that you love.
Today I am linking up with a couple of fellow bloggers that I am thankful for, Shelly and Katy for Spiel the Beans with the Queens. Be sure to check out what they have to say, too!
Have a Terrific Thursday!
Emily
I'm grateful for texting too, I like talking on the phone less and less.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I like texting because I can do it on my time. It's not always convenient to talk on the phone with kids at home.
DeleteThis was adorable and yes, I am totally thankful for all of those things too... except alarm clocks. I can't break my internal one no matter how hard I try.
ReplyDeleteMy internal alarm clock only works on days I don't need it to!!
DeleteLip gloss and queso, you had me at that! LOL xoxox
ReplyDeleteIt's the simple things in life!
DeleteHaha, so cute. I'm grateful for all of it too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dara!!
DeleteCute idea! I'm grateful for my internal alarm clock, as long as I get to bed on time it's pretty reliable! Although I alway set an alarm just in case.
ReplyDeleteI have to set two alarms because I'm such an oversleeper! I think I should have been nocturnal!
DeleteLove this - both your heartfelt paragraph about your family and the light hearted list. Especially that you managed to squeeze queso in with the "U!" Ditto for all of the list, except the alarm clock. I WISH I could get rid of my internal alarm clock! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tanya!! I try to squeeze in queso anytime I can. :)
DeleteI love that you spelled thankful and honestly, what's "u" without queso?! Thanks for linking up, friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katy! Queso may be one of the best inventions ever, right?
DeleteHaha I love that!! I, too, am so thankful for texting. I don't have time to talk on the phone these days! And Netflix... DUH! Who could live without it??
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. My phone hardly ever rings anymore, unless it's my hubby, mom or dad.
DeleteI don't even think I have an internal alarm clock :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, YES, to texting. #aintnobodygottimefortalkingonthephone
Right, I think I could sleep until 10 every day! I am just not a morning person.
DeleteI love this! Fun idea. I love lipgloss too..but I'd even let you use mine because I'm so not a germaphobe. Like all those cutesie little hand sanitizers are wasted on me..but I will borrow yours when we meet in person before I eat the mexican food. :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Sounds good! I'm only a germaphobe to people I don't know, and we're not strangers anymore. :)
DeleteHa! Love your list!! I am THANKFUL for your whole list...especially texting, Netflix, and Queso!
ReplyDeleteThanks...and Netflix and Queso are the perfect combo! :)
DeleteI'm a texter, too. I think it's because I spend so much of my time at work on the phone. Alise and I can't go into BBW without her begging for a new hand sanitizer. I'm not good with all their fragrances but if anyone in our family is a germophobe, it's her! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have a love hate relationship with those little hand sanitizers from B&BW. I agree the fragrances are too strong on some of them. I feel like they completely dry my hands out, too. But, they keep those pesky germs away. Or do they?
DeleteYour list is awesome!!! Netflix, queso, and Kohl's cash are definitely things that every girl can't live without!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I totally agree. Nothing is better than going into Kohls and buying a sweater for 83 cents! :)
DeleteThis is such a cute idea! I love the idea of making an acrostic about those things we are thankful for. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Thank you for stopping by my blog!
DeleteThis is the best list! All so true! My favorite might be Kohl's cash, I just used some yesterday! :) Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I used some last week, too! I got a shirt and a pair of joggers, and I was only out $7. Score!!
DeleteHeehee. This is fantastic! I love all the things you're thankful for!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susannah! Have a great day!
